Ulrich Sigel

Ulrich Sigel, Vice President Business Development at Focused Energy, has led groups of companies with up to 3,000 employees across various industries. Since 2010, he has focused on the power sector, particularly energy production using a wide spectrum of technologies—conventional,  renewables and nuclear—as well as on cleantech- and decarbonization-projects.

Throughout his career, Ulrich has played a key role in building and expanding companies in new business areas such as solar PV, direct air capture, EV infrastructure, and AI. He also has extensive experience in key international energy markets, including the United States, the Gulf States, India, Southeast Asia, and South America.

Ulrich has a broad educational background in business, technology, and science. He holds an MSc in Physics from the University of Konstanz (Germany) and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Illinois, USA).
